A practical Valheim bronze-age planning checklist
Reserve your forge materials, choose the activity you want to unlock, then budget only the tools and upgrades needed for it. A bronze axe plus cultivator starts at 13 bronze.
Choose the next activity
Fine wood: consider the bronze axe. Farming: consider the cultivator. More mining durability: consider the bronze pickaxe. Armor: compare the individual pieces and their movement trade-offs. These are different goals, not a compulsory shopping order.
Our starter preset combines an axe and cultivator because it makes the material trade-off easy to see. It is an editorial example, not a claim that every player should use this route.
Before your next trip
- Check whether your forge and required improvements already exist.
- Select the equipment and quality levels you actually want.
- Enter finished bronze, copper ingots and tin ingots from storage.
- Add the remaining wood, core wood, hides or scraps to your checklist.
- Save a named plan before changing your loadout or leaving the page.
Spend on the missing step
If you already own a quality-2 axe, an upgrade plan should begin at quality 2. Starting at “new” would charge you for the axe again. Likewise, a party can have a mixture of new items and upgrades: give those separate rows.
Your saved plans stay in the browser on this device. Export a backup file if you want to move them elsewhere. A share link includes equipment choices but intentionally excludes your personal inventory, so a friend can reuse the plan with their own stock.
Return when the plan changes
After a mining trip, update the inventory fields and your remaining list recalculates. After crafting, update the current quality or remove the completed row. The tool cannot inspect your game save and does not automatically spend materials in the game.
Once your immediate goal is done, create another named plan. A smaller list for a specific expedition is usually easier to act on than a single list containing every possible bronze item.
Make the numbers your own.
Set your gear, subtract your inventory and save a plan.
